＋Verb-て + います
＋For action verbs (eat, read, walk), -ています expresses ongoing action.
＋For change-of-state verbs (get married, come to know, die), -ています expresses resultant state.

今いま、本ほんを読よんでいます。

Ima, hon o yon de i masu.

I'm reading a book right now.
