Connection rules
- ＋な-adjective + ではありません (polite) / ではない or じゃない (plain)
- ＋The contracted じゃ forms are equally polite when combined with ありません.
- ＋Past negative: ではありませんでした / じゃなかった.

Kono heya wa shizuka de wa ari mase n.
This room is not quiet.
