Connection rules
- ＋Not yet: まだ + V ていない / まだ + V ていません. Still: まだ + V ている / まだ + V ています.
- ＋'Not yet' uses the progressive negative — a common error point for English speakers who reach for the simple past negative instead.
- ＋'Still' uses the progressive affirmative.

Mada shukudai o shi te i mase n.
