this / that / that over there / which (pronominal demonstratives).

Connection rules

  • これ/それ/あれ/どれ + verb/copula
  • これ is a full pronoun; use この before a noun ('this book' = この本, not これ本).
  • どれ is used when choosing from 3+ options; for 2 options, どちら is more appropriate.
