here / there / over there / where (place demonstratives).
Connection rules
- ＋ここ/そこ/あそこ/どこ + copula or particle
- ＋あそこ is irregular: it's あそこ, not 'あこ' or 'ああこ'.
- ＋The more polite and abstract directional forms こちら/そちら/あちら/どちら are taught as a separate point.
Examples

ここは学校です。
Koko wa gakkou desu.
This is a school. (here is a school)
