here / there / over there / where (place demonstratives).

Connection rules

  • ここ/そこ/あそこ/どこ + copula or particle
  • あそこ is irregular: it's あそこ, not 'あこ' or 'ああこ'.
  • The more polite and abstract directional forms こちら/そちら/あちら/どちら are taught as a separate point.

Koko wa gakkou desu.
