Connection rules
- ＋Drop い, add くない (plain) or くありません (polite). いい → よくない / よくありません.
- ＋いい ('good') is irregular throughout: よくない (negative), よかった (past), よくなかった (past negative).
- ＋The politeness form くないです is more colloquial than くありません; both are polite.
