(Ku te)
te-form of i-adjectives (joining / causal).
Connection rules
- ＋Drop final い, add くて: 高い → 高くて, おいしい → おいしくて, 寒い → 寒くて. Irregular: いい → よくて.
- ＋Cannot use で for i-adjectives — that is reserved for na-adj and nouns.
- ＋Exception: いい → よくて (matching the よく / よかった pattern).

Kono hon wa takaku te, omoi.
This book is expensive and heavy.
