(No hou ga yori)

A is more ___ than B (comparative).

Connection rules

  • A のほうが B より + adjective (or B より A のほうが + adjective)
  • For nouns: use のほうが. For verbs: use the dictionary form + ほうが.
  • The construction is about direct comparison; for 'more X' without a specific comparison, use もっと.
