あります

(Ni ga ari masu)

there is / exists (for inanimate things).

Connection rules

  • Place + に + Thing + が + あります
  • For animate things (people, animals), use います instead.
  • The thing that exists takes が, not は. If emphasizing the place as the topic, the place itself takes は: テーブルの上には何がありますか.
