(Te oku)
Doing something in advance or leaving it in a certain state.
Connection rules
- ＋Verb (te-form) + おく
- ＋Casual: Verb (te-form, drop て) + とく
Examples

明日までに資料を読んでおきます。
Ashita made ni shiryou wo yon de oki masu.
I will read the materials by tomorrow.
