ように見える
(You ni mieru)
Describes how something or someone appears or looks to the speaker.
Connection rules
- ＋Verb (Plain form) + ように見える
- ＋Noun + の + ように見える
- ＋i-Adjective + ように見える
- ＋na-Adjective + な + ように見える
Examples

彼は着物を着ると、まるで日本人のように見える。
Kare ha kimono wo kiru to, marude nipponjin no you ni mieru.
When he wears a kimono, he looks just like a Japanese person.
