べきだ
(Beki da)
Indicates a moral obligation, duty, or something that is naturally expected.
Connection rules
- ＋Verb (Dictionary Form) + べきだ / べきではない
- ＋Exception: する becomes するべき or すべき
Examples
1.
約束は守るべきです。
Yakusoku ha mamoru beki desu.
You should keep your promises.

あんなひどいことは言うべきではない。
Anna hidoi koto ha iu beki de ha nai.
