Used to clarify or qualify a statement by saying 'although I said X, the reality is...'

- ＋Verb/Adjective (Plain form) + といても
- ＋Noun + といっても
Examples

料理ができるといっても、卵焼きぐらいですよ。
Ryouri ga dekiru to i te mo, tamagoyaki gurai desu yo.
Even though I said I can cook, it is only things like rolled omelets.
