Connection rules

  • Verb (plain form) + というほどではない
  • Noun + というほどではない

Examples

料理りょうりつくれるが、得意とくいというほどではない。

Ryouri ha tsukureru ga, tokui to iu hodo de ha nai.

I can cook, but not to the extent of saying I'm good at it.
