(Ta kiri)
Describes a situation where an action happened and no change has occurred since.
Connection rules
- ＋Verb (た-form) + きり (～ない)
Examples

彼は朝出かけたきり、まだ帰ってこない。
Kare ha asa dekake ta kiri, mada kae te ko nai.
Since he left in the morning, he hasn't returned yet.
