Indicates doing something completely to the end, or doing something thoroughly.

Connection rules

  • Verb (ます-stem) + きる / きれる / きれない

Examples

キロを最後さいごまではしりきって、達成たっせいかんがあった。

Go kiro wo saigo made hashiri ki te, tassei kan ga a ta.

I felt a sense of accomplishment after running the full five kilometers.
