＋V plain / i-adj + 上に; na-adj + な / である + 上に; noun + である + 上に.
＋Additive — Y clause extends X in the same direction (both positive or both negative).
＋Formal variant of 〜し (listing reasons/facts).

この部屋へやは広ひろい上うえに、明あかるい。

Kono heya wa hiroi ue ni, akarui.

This room is spacious and also bright.
