(Karaniha)

now that / since (with strong obligation).

Connection rules

  • V plain / i-adj + からには; na-adj / noun + である + からには.
  • Strong obligation from a premise — 'since this is the case, you must'.
  • Similar to 〜以上(は) but emotionally stronger.

Examples

約束やくそくからにはかならまもます

Yakusoku shi ta karaniha, kanarazu mamori masu.

Now that I've promised, I will definitely keep it.
