Connection rules
- ＋V plain / i-adj + からには; na-adj / noun + である + からには.
- ＋Strong obligation from a premise — 'since this is the case, you must'.
- ＋Similar to 〜以上(は) but emotionally stronger.
Examples
1.
約束したからには、必ず守ります。
Yakusoku shi ta karaniha, kanarazu mamori masu.
Now that I've promised, I will definitely keep it.

日本に来たからには、日本語をマスターしたい。
Nippon ni ki ta karaniha, nihongo o masutaa shi tai.
