Connection rules

  • V plain / i-adj + だけのことはある; na-adj + な + だけのことはある; noun + (である) + だけのことはある.
  • Positive evaluative — praise that 'fits' the premise.
  • Very close in meaning to 〜だけあって (N3); this form is more reflective / conclusive.
